I read the Reader's Digest, cover to cover every month. It is the only magazine that I am committed to in hard copy. I also occasionally use the online version to follow up on something that I want to share with others. I just got the Aug 09 issue and there are lots of great one-liners to keep your spirits up and in the balcony!

respect your evaluator's time

Evaluators are busy in the spring. All the reports are due to the school district by
June 30. So don't wait until June to ask for an appointment! Actually, I prefer to have all the appointments set up in January or February! Call in January and I will put you on the calendar for April, May or June.
If you call after May 15 or so, there might not be any time slots left for you.
I think this is true for most evaluators.

Why the Balcony Lady

I want to cheer you on to success. I want you to reach your goals. I am a person in your "balcony" energizing you with positive affirmations.
